TIP FROM THE JUDGES:
There should be harmony between the dress, the pose and the background used to be able to create one striking photograph that catches the eye.
One of our judges is a photographer and the two are fashion critiques/professional bloggers.
They based their decision on the set criteria I gave them which are:
CREATIVITY and STYLE 40%,
POSE and PROJECTION 40%,
OVERALL IMPACT/BACKGROUND USED(to complement the dress appropriately)10%,
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS(picture labeling etc..) 10%

June rezzed in SL on 11/9/2007 and has owned and operated several Clubs. June's career in Sl Modeling started two years ago when she started to do Photography. With the love of clothes and fashion, June soon found that Secondlife had some very talented designers.
Having a girlhood dream of being a fashion model, June realized that her dreams could come true in Secondlife. So she seeked out different Agencies. First joined VooDoo Vogue Agency where she did numerous Fashion Shows. before they closed down.
June did not realized the hard work that she had to put in but found it was worth it and very rewarding, they taught her so much. Now she has so much more confidence in herself and her abilities. June's hard work paid off when she won Ms Best Model in SL 2010.
June has set and acheived several of her goals in this fabulous world of fashion, she knows she can achieve more. June's main goal now is to become the best model in Secondlife that she can be and to pass on her knowledge to other aspiring models that wish to persue this wonderful profession

1. We don't depend on photoshopped pics. We are judging the model's creativity and style and not the photographer for two reasons: we wanted you to shine on your own and not depend on your photographer plus it cuts on your expense.
2. We submit the pictures with no names to the judges. If you want to see what i mean you can visit http://dmgjudgesblog.blogspot.com it is an exclusive blog for judges. The judges are chosen only a day before the announcement of winners. This eliminates the bias of choosing whom you are friends with.
3. Eventhough we make these rules to live by, the contestant should bear in mind not to forget the basics of any clothing contest.
- YOU SHOULD "SHOW" the clothing in its entirety and not hide the details of the dress.
- IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING A PICTURE WEARING A GOWN, A WHOLE BODY SHOT SHOWING THE ENTIRE GOWN IS REQUIRED. CLOSE UP AND MIDI SHOTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING A PICTURE WEARING A COAT A MIDI SHOT IS BETTER.
- EVEN IF WE GIVE GREATER POINTS IN POSE YOUR POSE SHOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE ITEM YOU ARE WEARING.

Get To Know Them: Creative Look Winners for NOVEMBER

Winning the dmg creations contest of November is a real honor for me.
I just start working as a model and receive this important confirmation literally took my breath away.
Playing with the look and photography are my main passions and discover to be able to do it well is a great satisfaction for me specially because, I have to admit this, the competition was not easy and all the other finalists were more than perfect.
I thank the judges, the sponsors, but most of all, the sweet Docseree which has proved
friendly and helpful from the first moment that I decided to participate.

Winning the dmg creations contest of November is a real honor for me.
I just start working as a model and receive this important confirmation literally took my breath away.
Playing with the look and photography are my main passions and discover to be able to do it well is a great satisfaction for me specially because, I have to admit this, the competition was not easy and all the other finalists were more than perfect.
I thank the judges, the sponsors, but most of all, the sweet Docseree which has proved
friendly and helpful from the first moment that I decided to participate.
Now, I run the risk of sounding repetitive, but, thanks thanks a lot to all the staff working at the competition.

My name is Saphire Kamala , called Saphy by My Friends, I was born to SL on the 17th December 2008...
Original I came to SL to do creative roleplaying, which I successfully did until recently , having spend time exploring this wonderful in-world and having a natural interest in fashion , I decided to leave My roleplay and join the vast growing Industry of Fashion,
joining the Fashion Institute as a student , and the Fashion Palace as a Customer Service Rep, learning a lot during My time there , I did complete and earned My Graduation successfully . I did leave briefly due to RL but returned recently ,I am now working as an In-store Model at Sage , as a Runway Model for Maleha Modeling Agency & School and now as Runway Model for DMG having become a Finalist for October.
I would like to broaden My Horizon on Fashion and Photography as well as styling ,
I enjoy themeparks and do all sorts of activites on SL from sky diving to visiting beautiful styled sims. and of course exploring the great amount of fashion houses . I relax by dancing or simply chilling with friends.

Heya everyone its me Catlyn again. I started my Modeling Career back in August and to my honor I had one of the best teachers I think anyone could ever have. I then Proceeded my way through her Basic Class and move on to another wonderful teacher's Advanced (runway) Class. These two ladies taught me everything I needed to know. However, there are those in my life who have been there supporting me from day one or from the day I met them. Rissa and Candi were both wonderful teachers and have supported me through everything I do. Lolita, well Lolita is my SL sister who I have grown so close to we are sisters in every meaning of the word. She's been there for me through the ups and the downs and always encouraging me to do my best even though it may not always be enough. Now Marie and Linda, those to fine ladies graduated from the advance class the cycle before me....and boy....they have helped me through that and helped me so much more in learning who I am as a model and where I want to go. All these lovely ladies have made an amazing impact on my life and I am proud to call them all my friends. This photo was helped formed by all of you even though you may not know it. I love you all and thank you all so much for helping me when I need it.

I am pleased to be a DMG finalist for October having just embarked upon a modeling career. Less than a year ago I came to SL to work on an education project and have stayed to experience the richness of virtual reality and how it changes your first life in many ways you can not imagine until you have lived here. Fashion as art abounds in SL and so my interest in all aspects of the SL fashion industry keeps growing.
I live on the water in the quirky, interesting Victorian Steampunk village of Caledon, but shed my Victorian clothes for more contemporary styles when out in the greater Linden world. You will often find me dancing at the jazz clubs, blues bars, and live concerts where SL fashion abounds.
There will be some changes in the following months. Watch out for the announcements.

I never thought I would be on the cover of any magazine here in SL, this is such an honor for me!
Thanks so much to the judges and everyone who helped make this possible. All the designers who support this contest, and to Docseree and Kimmera who put so much into what they do, you make SL a brighter place! Big Hugs!!
I came to SL in April of 08 to explore the fashion industry. It wasn't long before I discovered the modeling world and got my first job modeling for JCNY. Knowing that I need more training as a model, I enrolled in MODA Modeling School and graduated in Feb 09 and was later promoted as a MODA Spotlight Model which airs Monday nights on SLTV.
Since then I have done an array of modeling jobs including print work and runway and entered several contests along the way. I later took a job at Calendar Models of SL as the CCO and tryed my hand at photography. It was pretty tough for me in the beginning because I as working with a program I knew nothing about but with the help of my SL partner Eric, I was able to overcome those obsticles. I learn so many new things everyday, SL really challenges my creative side more than I could have ever imagined.
I graduated from 2 other modeling schools, and began to design a line of fashions and jewelry for our store. I recently accepted a position for the Onyx Bills SFL Football team as a Cheer Coach and later was promoted by the SFL as an All-Star Cheerleader. I am really excited about the SFL, it's brought so many new opportunities into SL!
I love all I do in SL and couldnt imagine my life without any one of them. Modeling in SL certainly can have its ups and downs but I still feel now as I did in the beginning when I came to SL, I am so honored to be part of this fashion world, from the people I have met to the things I have learned, its been an incredible
journey.

Eilonweeh Grantly started her modeling carrer when she joined the team of Pole Fashion Models and was hired as a Store Model on June 2010. After joining Pole Fashion, it opened her doorways to Delirium Styles and was hired as a Live Model and became Elba's Grand Prize winner in their photo contest. She realized that she wants more from just being a store model so with the sponsorship given to her by Ms. Stacy Maracas, she enrolled in MA Modeling Agency and Academy and graduated on September 12, 2010.
After graduation, she was hired as a model by Peach Javernine and in this agency she was exposed to weekly trainings and themed contest. She also won as one of the finalist for DMG Creative Look of the Month (September) and was hired as one of their runway models. She is also MA's runway model and have done shows for Neuf Mois.

Get To Know Them: Creative Look Winners for August
Winner: ISSY FLATLEY
Issy Flatley has been in Second Life for 2 years. She has explored all over and made new friends along the way. All though she has always had a great passion for the fashion industry she never fully took advantage of what the industry was about in Second Life.
She was introduced to the world of modeling though a close friend whom invited her to go to a fashion show. That first show sparked an interest for becoming a model in Issy. One that would not die out. And even still today burns brightly for Issy.
She loves fashion and takes any opportunity to go shopping and describes herself as a self confessed shopaholic, she also enjoys meeting new people and helping them out in anyway she can, spending time with her friends and family or just sitting on the beach reading a good book or magazine.
She is currently training with, Fashion Institute
- Associates Degree - ULTIMATE EXPOSURE MODELING AGENCY - Avenue Models Academy, and loves runway, print and live modeling. Her very first photo contest was for DMG Creations in July which she was placed 3rd in she then re entered in the August and came first.
For Issy, this day didn't seem like it would ever come. Winning the competition was a complete surprise, and a wonderful one for her. Winning, has given her a new found confidence in herself as a person. A confidence that has put her to new heights, and given her a little pep in her step. Her joy at finally having all her hard work come to it's first fruition is over flowing, and she hopes to one day be able to help someone feel that too. Winning this contest is her first step in her modeling career, one she hope to make a long and happy one.

Introduction: I have been working as a model in SL since October 2009. I love modeling and the whole SL Fashion Industry! I am a hard worker and I spend an insane amount of time on SL. Also, being a self motivated person who loves to talk and meet new people, I am always looking for ways to improve my modeling skills and this will allow me the room for opportunity to grow within the SL Modeling community. I would like to thank Docseree Mistwalker for the opportunity to further my modeling career, she was one of the first people to give me a chance at modeling in SL.

I'm a very dedicated and hard working person that enjoys and appreciates the SL fashion industry. Very versatile in my look with many different types of skins and shapes from a variety of designers, as well as numerous hair, eyes and clothing options. I have a custom made shape that I'm very proud of, so my look is unique to me. If there is a look that I don't have that you need me to create let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. CONGRATULATIONS...to the following winners sorry for the slight delay. One assigned judge did not turn in his judging worksheet in time due acceptable reasons. I looked at the scores the decision was unanimous. The winner showed herself to be a cut above the rest. Congratulations to all of you and thank you for joining. You may join again next month. Entries will be accepted starting August 1,2010 when the GLITTER TOUCH OF BLACK COLLECTION has been released in the Market. All winners are disqualified to join until Nov 2010 but may join again starting Dec 2010. Runner-ups are allowed to join again anytime

Katherine will receive a set of STUDIO NAILS and 4-5 outfit from Tres Beau. She will also be DMGs Exclusive Print/Catalog Model for August. She will receive an outfit named after her from DMG Creations and she will be E- Style Cover Model for August.
Flora will receive an outfit from DMG Creations of her choice. She will receive 30 day modelling contract with DMGs where she can grace the runway and earn depending on her devotion. She will be E-Style Centerfold Model for August.
The Monetary Prizes will follow once Pixelook send in their check.
The Monetary Prizes from DMG will be in a form of gift certificate which you can use to purchase DMG items of your choice. It will be sent to you in world.

Get to Know Them: DMG CREATIVE LOOK WINNERS for June
WINNER: GLITTER BOLISSIMA
I am very honored and excited to win DMG Creative Look of the month. I love fashion in RL, but love it even more in SL because everything fits great in SL, no hiring a tailor here. Especially DMG designs, they always seem to fit just perfect with very little editing if any. I highly reccomend joing in the DMG Creative Look contest, it is a lot of fun and you make new friends too.
♛Glitter Bolissima has been a model in SL for over a year. She graduated from SuperElite Modeling Academy in March 2009 and also graduated from their Elite Class in April 2009. In May 2009 she was crowned Ms SL International and her modeling career took off from there. In June 2009 she was hired as the Director of Catalyst of Fantasy Modeling Academy and trained models there until June 2010. My SL is consistently filled with joy and wonder. Over my past three years in SL I’ve accomplished many things: builder, sim designer, entrepreneur, store and sim owner and a model (my current and most self fulfilling endeavor); the list goes on and on and I’m sure that others will emerge in the future.
My professional modeling career has been fast and furious and am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given. I am a strong willed woman who works mercilessly to be the best I can be. I am proud of all my accomplishments, including being a Miss Virtual World 2011 Finalist representing the USA and becoming SuperElite's SuperSearch "Miss Autumn 2010."
I am also the Director of Sophisticated Secretes Modeling Agency (SSMA) and am thankful I was chosen to be a part of such a strong and wonderful group to work beside.
I look forward to the many challenges and opportunities my SL holds in store for me and am grateful I am here to experience them with those around me.

I am very honored and excited to win DMG Creative Look of the month. I love fashion in RL, but love it even more in SL because everything fits great in SL, no hiring a tailor here. Especially DMG designs, they always seem to fit just perfect with very little editing if any. I highly reccomend joing in the DMG Creative Look contest, it is a lot of fun and you make new friends too.
♛Glitter Bolissima has been a model in SL for over a year. She graduated from SuperElite Modeling Academy in March 2009 and also graduated from their Elite Class in April 2009. In May 2009 she was crowned Ms SL International and her modeling career took off from there. In June 2009 she was hired as the Director of Catalyst of Fantasy Modeling Academy and trained models there until June 2010. She was crowned Miss Rez in March 2010 and now she now has opened her own modeling academy, Defiant Fantasy Acedemy. Below is her impressive resume
