DMG CREATIVE LOOK FINALISTS for JANUARY

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING FINALISTS:

It is the first time that 2 participating outfits were allowed in the monthly contest and it is the first time that the contest was made exclusive for female models. These are some of the changes we have been mentioning since the last quarter of 2010.
I also stopped store modeling for a while since I cannot monitor the models personally and I don't want to depend 100% on my manager Devi Longfall who will be busy in our upcoming Valentine Fashion Show. Rest assured store modeling will be resumed once I have more free time RL to spend in SL.

RULES FOR THIS CONTEST:
1. Only the participating outfit for the month should be used to enter
2. Only 1 picture per participating outfit.
3. Several entries may be submitted provided it is a different outfit but within the participating outfit line(this increases your chances of winning but this is optional and depends on the model's discretion)

Rusalka is a proud member of the KDSM Elite Models and Costa Rica Sims Productions families. She is also currently attending the Miss Virtual World Academy. In addition to modeling, Rusalka is also a photographer, SL lifestyle & fashion writer at http://ThisSecondLife.com and co-owns Rusalka Designs and Photography Studio with her partner, Felsputzer Lowtide.

I have been a fan of E-STYLE magazine for a while, but I only recently gained the courage to try out such a tough contest! Landing a magazine cover would, of course, be a dream. More than that though, I simply enjoy the challenge of competing with the other amazing models and photographers out there striving for the same goal. Plus, this contest introduced me to DMG Creations, which truly inspired me to create this photo with their fabulous outfit of the month. After I had the outfit and got to playing with styling and backgrounds, I was having so much fun I just had to enter!

i speak german and english
I was Student in Icarus Model academy my Trainer was Lars Foulsbane.
I am a model because I love fashion and I like to meet new people. I also love the diversity of options to change my look.
My goals are to learn as much as possible to be a really good model and work with the best designers in SL and help new models to make their way in the world of Fashion.

I was born 5/16/2007

When I start in SL I worked in a Club as a manager. One part of my tasks was to plan the schedule of the dancers and to plan and conduct contests. In the Club I worked for more than a half year, then there was a owner change, I got the chance to work as a moderator for slr2 a german radiostation. I had my own weekly radio show named " Jewellhearts - Unterwegs in Sachen Liebe" I traveld in SL to nice places where couples can have a nice time. Sometimes I helped people to say sorry or tell their sweetheart that they love him or her.
I worked there for more than a year.
After that I don´t realy worked in SL, sometimes I pland weddings for friends, part from differnet medivial Roleplays and tried to create some clothes.
In April 2010 me and two friends bought a homestead sim and we started our own Roleplay Sim.
I was administrator there and worked as the finacial coordinator. We closed the sim after 5 months.
In January i opened my own Agency for modeling and dance specialy to teach german models.

I am Puhi Rotaru and have been modeling since August 2007. I am a graduate of EVANE in August 2007 and have been affiliated with many prestege agencies . I am currently attending MVW academy for a refresher course. I have worked for many talented designers and have done numerous runway shows, live modeling and some print work for contests. I have entered and placed in many contest and semi-finals and finals.
I want to join this contest to present DMG and Estyle in a professional manner and grace the cover of a awesome magazine. Also , to represent my unique style to the SL fashion world.

I am pleased to be a finalist for DMG Creations and congratulate all the other finalist too. I also send a word of encouragment to others who want to be a model or in contest and say "dont give up and keep trying", because if its what you desire, you will succeed.

June rezzed in SL on 11/9/2007 and has owned and operated several Clubs. June's career in Sl Modeling started two years ago when she started to do Photography. With the love of clothes and fashion, June soon found that Secondlife had some very talented designers.

Having a girlhood dream of being a fashion model, June realized that her dreams could come true in Secondlife. So she seeked out different Agencies. First joined VooDoo Vogue Agency where she did numerous Fashion Shows. before they closed down.

June did not realized the hard work that she had to put in but found it was worth it and very rewarding, they taught her so much. Now she has so much more confidence in herself and her abilities. June's hard work paid off when she won Ms Best Model in SL 2010.

June has set and acheived several of her goals in this fabulous world of fashion, she knows she can achieve more. June's main goal now is to become the best model in Secondlife that she can be and to pass on her knowledge to other aspiring models that wish to persue this wonderful profession

Hello, my name is Meri Dagger, and i thank you for looking over what i tried to create for your contest!
My resume is not extensive, i only just started at D.A.B. modeling academy, but since i have been immersed in this culture i have not only begun to strive to be the very best that i can be, but that, as it has always been, to make my avatar into a custom made art form. Modeling has been a breath of fresh air, and it has finally given me something to truly enjoy here in Second Life.
Personally, the two biggest things about me is that i LOVE to make people laugh, and i am a very loyal family member and friend, =).

As I am still new to Second Life I have already set what I wanted out from this game and that is to be a Fashion Model.... but as I lived my life I realized it is impossible..

Back then I am just a simple girl having so many dreams ... I've already given up my hopes to be a model.

Met lots of amazing people here in SL who have helped me reached the point where I am now...I am so thankful for their love and care and that makes me realized something...you cannot live ur life alone, all we need to survive in this game is a simple hi and a warmth hello.

I'm a risk taker...and never regret it. It had opened a lot of doors for me and I've accidentally made a life here in SL... and having a life means lots of responsibilities.

I'm thankful I have found the most amazing family my Blue Family Ben and Stacy, my sister Hepzibah who is very loving and protective and my baby brother Jordan. As some would say we are like MAFIA.. we take extra care ㋡.

And to my extended family Angel, Bri, Chelsea, Seree and Yajiru who were my best of friends and my sisters too, to the most amazing guy in SL my ever loving and supportive brother Navarro.

My dearest friend turned niece Sophie, who have opened my eyes that I need to be beautiful... My Begad, who were always there for me listening and knows all my ups and down....ever so caring and loving.

And to my Forever, who taught me a lot of things in life and I really learned a lot. He just knows his way to my ♥.

To all that I've met along the way...people I've worked with and to those who have showed me the right path to my success...

KIMBER KASSNER


I came to SL in April of 08 to explore the fashion industry. It wasn't long before I discovered the modeling world and got my first job modeling for JCNY. Knowing that I need more training as a model, I enrolled in MODA Modeling School and graduated in Feb 09 and was later promoted as a MODA Spotlight Model which airs Monday nights on SLTV.

Since then I have done an array of modeling jobs including print work and runway and entered several contests along the way. I later took a job at Calendar Models of SL as the CCO and tryed my hand at photography. It was pretty tough for me in the beginning because I as working with a program I knew nothing about but with the help of my SL partner Eric, I was able to overcome those obsticles. I learn so many new things everyday, SL really challenges my creative side more than I could have ever imagined.

I graduated from 2 other modeling schools, and began to design a line of fashions and jewelry for our store. I recently accepted a position for the Onyx Bills SFL Football team as a Cheer Coach and later was promoted by the SFL as an All-Star Cheerleader. I am really excited about the SFL, it's brought so many new opportunities into SL!

I love all I do in SL and couldnt imagine my life without any one of them. Modeling in SL certainly can have its ups and downs but I still feel now as I did in the beginning when I came to SL, I am so honored to be part of this fashion world, from the people I have met to the things I have learned, its been an incredible
journey.

Hi! My name is Alexandrea Ryada. I'm sort of new to SL having a rez date of 03/05/10 but I've already fallen in love with the fashions and the modelling industry here. My SL is consistently filled with joy and wonder. Over my past three years in SL I’ve accomplished many things: builder, sim designer, entrepreneur, store and sim owner and a model (my current and most self fulfilling endeavor); the list goes on and on and I’m sure that others will emerge in the future.

My professional modeling career has been fast and furious and am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given. I am a strong willed woman who works mercilessly to be the best I can be. I am proud of all my accomplishments, including being a Miss Virtual World 2011 Finalist representing the USA and becoming SuperElite's SuperSearch "Miss Autumn 2010."

I am honored to have been chosen as a finalist again for DMG.

I have been modeling for over a year now in SL. Shortly after graduating SuperElite Academy along with their Elite course, I was crowned Ms. SL International and my career took off from there. I was also crowned Ms Rezz 2010 in March '10.

I have worked as a print, runway and magazine model as well as live, commercial and video modeling. I take great pride in modeling and have fun at with it at the same time.

I am the Director of Catalyst of Fantasy's Modeling Academy and I also train there. I mentor a handful of new models as well as some older ones too *smiles*

I confess, I'm a shopaholic which qualifies me to have a career in the SL modelling industry. After learning some skills finishing the advance class at Catalyst of fantasy, I became one of their models. Since then I am also represented by Premiere, Poison and DejaVogue.
There are 2 designers I work for Amutey DeCuir's top model at Bliss Couture and Mea Carnell's Aimesi model.
I have been in only 2 competitions.
~ Finalist at JCNY 3rd & 4th weeks Oct
~ Winner in a tie with Mia Rebane Miss Virtual World for "Make It Work 3" a Style competition sponsored by model's workshop.


I am thrilled and honored to become a finalist in DMG's Creative Look competition. Everyone did a great job so I am sure it was a tough decision for our judges. I thank DMG for a great outfit selection and this opportunity to be part of such a fun contest. I also thank those that voted for me.

I have been modeling for over a year now in SL. Shortly after graduating SuperElite Academy along with their Elite course, I was crowned Ms. SL International and my career took off from there. I was also crowned Ms Rezz 2010 in March '10.

I have worked as a print, runway and magazine model as well as live, commercial and video modeling. I take great pride in modeling and have fun at with it at the same time.

I am the Director of Catalyst of Fantasy's Modeling Academy and I also train there. I mentor a handful of new models as well as some older ones too *smiles*

I have an intensive resume of my achievments and have graced the runway with many top models and for many fabulous designers, done print work and have placed in many contest.

Modeling is my passion and styling is what I truly enjoy. I love it here in SL and everyday here is a learning experience for me. I am also doing photography and enjoy being able to make photos which "stand out" and loved by those whom I capture in them.

REASON FOR MODELING
Fashion has been a very personal element in my life, since the days I watched some of my aunts and uncles work through their designs and artistic endeavours in my childhood. They taught me to view fashion and art as a way of expressing my individuality rather than something to follow with labels and designers. This has been the foremost reason why I have always sought out the progressive, the conceptual, and the unique. As an Asian model, I hope to further develop these elements while portraying to the community a new perspective on fashion, beauty, and art.

Amongst those closest to me, I am notorious for seeking out new ways of seeing the world. Often, this means putting myself into challenging and new situations that bring me out of my comfort zone. As a result, I tend to be an open, honest person who likes to analyse the surface and then look beyond to the next layers. DAMMY EMMONS

Hello, I am Dammy, I come from Sicily and I am in SL since almost 3 years.
In all this time a lot of things happened to me, but if I try to look back, I can easily find a common denominator: my passion for fashion.

I can remember like it was yesterday, when I was just a little more than a newbie and I tryed to create clothes and pose to take pictures of them, all by myself.

Since my those rudimental tentatives I could understand quite soon that this was exactly what I wanted to do in sl: being a model, wearing fantastic clothes and pose for pictures of them.

I temporary worked for some club, where I used to dance and entertain people, and honestly it made me understand that I am more interested in fashion.
I actually work as a model at Pole Fashion Main Store, where most of all I pose showing their quality skins.

Oh, and of course, I am the classic "fashion victim", I spend very long time having shopping, when I look for lovely dresses and fabolous shoes.
I also like to decorate my house, that is what I do for most of my free time.

In real life I already have a degree, and now I study hard to realize my dream: help people with brain damages.

Hello, I'm Eve, and I'm so honored and excited to be a finalist for the third month in a row in the DMG Creative Look of the Month Contest for April! After being named as the first runner up for February, it's very exciting to be a finalist again with another shot at the title. Since last month, I've entered a number of other modeling contests, and have placed in a few of them, including a second place finish as the Model of the Month for Fashion Mecca. I've owned my own photography/graphic design business in SL since I started here in May 2007. I spend my time in SL learning everything I can about photography and modeling, always striving to create better photographs and artwork.
